I have my eye on a new to me boat. Its a 22 footer with i/o merc. with a kicker bracket already on it and now I'm looking around for a motor. My question is what do I want, a tiller or a remote control model? any advice is appreciated. Thanks

My question is what do I want, a tiller or a remote control model? any advice is appreciated. Thanks Send us a couple pictures of the boat and bracket Usually for a guy that trolls for salmon or walleye a remote is most user friendly but in some cases you can make a tiller work just fine I A tiller will usually cost a little less because you done Need a control box and cables Care should be taken choosing the correct motor to match up properly on the exis ting bracket brackets have Weight rating that never should be exceeded some brackets designed for a two stroke the mounting pad for the out board is too small to accommodate the foot print of a new modern 4 stroke with power tilt Our email is Info@calumetmarine.com Please put in title forums picture request. See you on the water!
