I have been fixing these for years what pics do you need if I have them be happy to post them for you or you can google "lund transom rot" couple pages of pictures will pop up usually the hardest part is getting the old transom out when building the new one what makes it easy getting it back in is clamping it to some steel tubing while the epoxy glue dries to avoid warping the slightest warping in the wood makes it tough almost impossible to get back in we only do this sort of work over the winter @ 30% discount over our normal labor rate still costs 3-4000 bucks not much materials mostly labor lots of it Nast stinky diging out the old transom can be more money with wave whackers or a previous repair done with sea cast or get rot some if left to long are just past the point of repair
free non disassembly estimates taking appointments for next season transoms now with deposit no deposit no guaranteed spot

sorry our server for the pictures is no longer hosting these images
but to answer the most frequent question
average cost 4-5000 $ for a boat that has a complete transom live well assembly that has to come out if there is no tore or ripped metal that has to be fixed
yes there are places that do this job for less money i have no idea what they are doing how or what materials they are using but we use only west system epoxy and A grade marine plywood and polysulfide sealers with 50% discount on out 110 per hour normal season labor rates
2020/2021 off season completely booked no more spots avaialable unless some one cancels all reseved spots are required to have a no refundable deposit
we will be happy to share how to do some of this work your self or the whole job often we will pull motors and store for customer while they do the work as long as materials are purchased thru our business
PLEASE DONT BRING ME PARTS AND MATERIALS PURCHASED ELSE WHERE AND ASK US HOW TO USE THEM
WE ARE HERE TO HELP YOU BUT LETS BE FAIR ABOUT IT WE DON NOT INSTALL PRODUCTS PURCHASED ELSEWHWREE
