I got to tell you it is a constant battle that goes on behind closed doors of the motor manufacturers and boat manufacturers
it is part of the never ending struggle to be profitable production requires some sort of standardization to be efficient
boat manufacturers eliminate options you can only have this or that on this boat or you have to buy this package with all this stuff you don't want etc etc etc you must stock these boats or this many boats then now the motor companies but up boat companies and all of a sudden the deal on this boat always looks better than the one with out their motor on it
the list goes on and one we are constantly battling to keep the options open for you so we can rig a boat the best way possible for how you are going to use it in this case one well rigged matched to it use is better than two boat half way there
we work hard to earn you business we hope to continue to do this as long as folks are still buying boats and motors here after all what you really are spending your money for is fun on the water and nothing is more important than matching the boat/tool to the task
long term satisfaction in a boat purchase requires forethought and good advice to facilitate good planning = money well spent = happy customers calumet marines formula for its long term success
no boat on the show room floor it truly custom if not rigged for a specific customer
calumet marine keeping the options open for you with the only truly custom boats on the Great Lakes
hondacat: they are getting them good in the calumet river where the creek in hegwish dumps into it

bullelkklr: How did the bow mounting of the exhaust port for the Espar heater work out for you? I am working on a similar installation of a D2 heater and am trying to decide whether to take the exhaust out the hull starboard side or put it where you did.

bullelkklr: Do you have any problems with melting coolers or being too hot to the touch on the gunnel from the exhaust? Is there any problems with exhaust fumes on the back deck from swirling exhaust when on anchor?
