average life on a inboard engine is about 2000 to 3000 hours in a commercial application a little less in a recreational application because commercial boats are usually better taken care of and run more often most charter captains will baby their equipment more than the week end warrior and actually the way most boats are used only occationally is harder on the motors than using them every day done right it can greatly extend the life of a boat done wrong can just extend the agony of the end of a cost effective life cycle the right equipment can make it LOOK easy its not! Got questions for the customer how its worked out for him? call captain MIKE www.lakesidecharters.com/ OR BETTER YET BOOK A TRIP AND SEE FOR YOURSELF
