Well Guys and Gals If my little afternoon trip yesterday is any indication we may be in store for the best year of Great Lakes fishing we have seen in a long long time leaving the dock @ 12;30 you dont normally have real high expectations especially after the blow we just had but WOW BAIT EVERY WHERE STARTING TO THINK SOME THING WAS WRONG WITH MY GARMIN FISH FINDER ! ok so we found some spots out I front of hammond with some 48 deg surface water temp and decided to set up there give it a try 3 guys on board so 9 rods we had out never quite got totally set up or dialed in first fish fat as heck and puking up smelt all the rest of the day huge belly fish back at the dock by 4;30 3 man limit with plenty of drive by misses and other excuses to loose some best bait red #71 thin fish brads dodger and fly close second red and clown color *" reef runner fire tiger took a few mate the biggest fish of the day not certain was constant action and with all this bait around is only going to get better you guys with smaller boats get out there now! You do not have to go out far and have not seen it this good in a long long time do not need fancy tackle just drag a couple flat lines with may be a keel sinker set up . and you too can say on the radio "HOMER IS IN THE BOAT' time to go you you have caught your limit
