Ludington michigan ??
lets get a couple trailer able boats and go up there ?
who want to go give me a call we will start the planning now
Hey Frank, I've got another idea too, for fishing reports and lodging I also belong to a website called fish-ludington.com. If you access it, you will see a daily fishing report posted starting in June or so, plus many choice lodging/campgrounds to enjoy. Two motels I suggest for basic needs and cheap are the Vista Villa, 231-843-9320 or The Nova, 231-843-3454; for the high rollers that want the best try Snyder's Shoreline Inn, 231-845-1261, they overlook the channel/lighthouse on Lake Michigan, have hot tubs in rooms, and balcony's for viewing the boats coming and going, plus the Carferry Badger. Of course for those wanting to rough it and have their own rv/camper, we offer camping right at the Thompson marina. Hope this helps and gets people useful info.. Thanks. Ed. __________________

IF you go in the middle of July or later I would make it. Like Jay, I do not like to fish out of this port. Maybe do Manistee a month later.
There is a nice camp ground just south of Ludington that over looks the lake. It is nice and the view is great. I have stayed there several times.
