I often wondered about being a charter captain for a lot of reasons #1 it would help me pay for my habit #2 i would get to fish more ect ect ect But that's how i got seriously involved in boat and motor repair i still enjoy fixing motors but its a lot different doing it just for fun than as a business / job I decided after talking to a lot of Charter captain buddy's that i should probably pass on the aspiration #1 reason it would turn my fishing into another JOB #2 after being in the boat repair business i come to realize the wear and tear on a boat and equipment of a charter boat operation is real hard to recuperate by the time you pay for all the insurance and other added expenses involved may actually cost less to just fish your own boat as much as you can . certainly has been fun watching both little kids and full grown adults acting like a little kid catching their first Great lakes salmon We are very proud Of Ryan (hondam) our son For obtaining his MASTER Captains License with towing certification Regardless if he decides to do great lakes charters or push barges on the ohio river Its a level of training that prepares you for the unexpected and can possibly save some ones life besides when he borrows dads boat i know it is in good hands The last not so recent picture and the second to the last picture Of Captain Ryan and His Brother two of my most favorite pictures ever ITS ALL ABOUT THE FUN!!!
