we fished along the beach in manistee on sat for browns going 3 for 3 on #10 and #12 HJ 75 to 100 bk.not much action with the offshore wind.on sun we headed to the other side of the state to port sanilac.we started out pulling stickbaites without a bump.so we pulled everything and switched over to riggers and lead with spoons and ended the day 8 for 12,6 lakers all 10#s plus,a brown and a steelie.got to fish the new boat in some chop yesterday and i am very impressed with how it handled it.

on lk mi its manistee ,allways some thing to catch from ice out till the ramps freeze.on lk huron, its a toss up.i like port sanilac in the spring and tawas bay in the fall for big browns.tawas is not a big numbers port, but i have caught a lot of big fish there.the wife and i have a goal to catch fish from every port on michigan and huron in michigan waters with this boat,we have 3 scratched off the list in just over a week.hope to have over half of them scratched off this year.will have more reports as soon as the wind stops howling,
