Finally got my brother out to fish in two years Monday. We were 7/10 in 3 plus hours of fishing. I set only 4 lines and hits started in short time. In next 3 hours we never had the 4 lines in again at one time. We had several doubles on. All fish were on various magnum glow spoons. Wonder bread taking 4. They were on dr down 65-75 ft and magnum dipseys back 200 back on a 3 setting. One was on pp and the other on wire. I tried meat, but no hits. We started at 5;00 and went 3-4 miles south of the group fishing out front and set up in 160-200 fow. Only one fish had any bait in it. They went from 8-16 pounds.

Jay, I was going to check to see if you were out. I was told to go to the 10's. However, when I was in the 12's and nobody was around I figured I would start. My brother needed to practice without others. It was great for me to watch him get all excited. I saw a few boats south and thought about continuing on that path. However, we had steady action and that is all I cared about. 31/2 hours of fishing and 7/10 was decent day. My brother had to take care of his dog and had to get back in. i was going to stay out, but I decided to head home.
I am headed to northern Ontario next week for a canoe trip and some walleyes. After that it is a week with our grand daughter and then back north. So I will be back north the week of July 10.
It is great that you are having so much fun using your boat and catching fish. I will call you the next time I am out on M/T.
