the wires were hot today,we boxed out by 9 am.JK blue bubble meat rig was the stand out on a wire 225 bk.blue momba 150 bk took fish too.a glow white SD with a JK undertaker meat rig and a blue momba SD with a JK clear blue meat rig on the riggers 50 to 85 dwn were good untill the sun poped up.took a couple steelies on spoons on 3 and 5 colors of lead.we started out in 85 fow and ended up in 350 fow.the bite just kept moving deeper today for us.

whats the kill number for this year jay? keep it up you going to make it to 1,000 the first year with the new boat

we are at 396 fish in the new boat so far.the only bad thing is i am almost out of meat allready the fish sure do like it

if you want to slice and dice your self you cab make 4 strips out of each one of these bad boys the problem wiht good herring strips they make you lazy or at least in my case its MY EXCUSE lol i can blame on the herring strips also can save some big money cutting your own strips and you get the tail on the "A" side seems to add some thing to the big fish factor

i ordered some of the blue and the red also put in a order with jon to get ready for vacation aug 12 thru the 18th.we will be in manistee the whole week,watch out fish

Jay, I did well on lime green with meat too. All on dr 70-80 ' down. However, nothing on wire. I was talking with several guys, charter captains, at the Tangle tackle. They informed they use the gold label herring instead blue. The herring last the whole day. You have to push the scales off at the head to be able to penetrate them. But they last. Wind certainly a pain this past week. Was able to fish one morning decently.
