Just got back from a Erie trip this last Monday. The lake is at least 2 weeks behind normal temps/fish patterns/locations.
With the current heat I would think this next week should rock for trollers.
The fish were in a transition when we were there, some in the top 5' and some on the bottom that were not feeding. Even caught one female full of spawn yet. Best catching was found around the Niagra reef area.
28fow with dypsy set on 3 out 53 loc. and slide diver on 1.5 out 43. For boards a 3 color with an additional 1- 1/4oz snap weight was the best.. Hot spoons were Jaeger Bomb and Grape Jelly.
