it dont take much heat to make a big difference in what damage is done by the winter storage season
slight amount of heat greatly dries out the interior of a boat and stops mold and mildew a little more maintains a above freezing temp and eliminate the destructive action of ice on decks stringers transoms and even helps prevent blisters on hull bottoms
a little moisture in older boat cores is to be expected but it is the freezing that actually is what we need to worry about
ever seen the back of a aluminum boat that has a composite core that looks like some one over tightened the thru bolts?
more likely the bolts where never over tightened but a little moisture held by the core caused the core to swell and bend the outer skin in the winter when the core was frozen
THERE ARE A LOT OF BOATS THAT JUST SHOULD NOT BE IN ANY THING BUT HEATED WINTER STORAGE
but all other will also see benefits
to answer the question
Q; heated inside storage is it worth it ?
obviously depends on the price but one thing is for sure all boat will benefit from inside heated storage
always winterize all motors and systems that hold water even if you pay extra for heated storage you just never know when electricity or other utilities can go out even for a short time consequences can be expensive !!
Q; heated inside storage is it worth it ? yes yes yes yes
yes we have a limited amount of space left for this season 100% of all our storage customers the last five years that still own their boat come back
yes we store RVs snow machines and classic cars and motorcycles
yes we do in house winterizing shrink wrap and minor repairs wile in storage no out side labor allowed with out written permission
call for pricing and details fuel must be 7/8 tank or lower NO leaking or dripping any fluids other than water or enviormently friendly anti freeze will be allowed
